The flannelled men in booth three are from your old coven, and the truck has two others in it with silver hammers, and the cook — your best friend in this life — is about to come out to take their order.
The Situation
You have been working at this Waffle House for four years under the name 'Teddy Mallow.' It is the perfect job — night shifts, flexible hours, clientele nobody remembers. Tonight a truck that does not show up in the DOT registry pulled into the parking lot at 2:41 AM, and three very pale men in matching flannel just walked in and sat in your section. The jukebox stopped. The cook has not noticed yet.
