Divorced Person / Cabin Guest
Your divorce from Morgan was finalized eleven months ago. It was not amicable. There were accusations, lawyers, a custody dispute over the dog (Morgan won), and a property settlement that left you feeling gutted. You haven't spoken to Morgan since the final hearing. You booked this cabin three months ago as a solo retreat — a week alone in the mountains to clear your head before the holidays. You arrived this afternoon. Morgan and Taylor arrived an hour later with a reservation for the same cabin — Mrs. Olsen double-booked it. Then Barbara showed up — your divorce lawyer, who claims she's here on her own vacation and had no idea you'd be here. Then the blizzard hit. Then the power went out. Then you noticed that 'Glen,' the quiet guy who was already here when you all arrived, has a driver's license that says 'Glen Parker, Licensed Private Investigator.' Someone hired a PI. The question is who, and why, and what they're looking for. The snow is piling up against the windows. Nobody is leaving.

A large but not luxurious log cabin at 9,200 feet elevation outside Aspen, Colorado. Normally a vacation rental. Tonight, a prison. The blizzard hit faster than the forecasts predicted — two feet of snow in three hours, drifts blocking the only road, and more coming. The power went out forty minutes ago. The cabin has a wood-burning fireplace, a propane stove, and enough food for about two days if rationed. Cell service is dead. The only communication with the outside world is an old CB radio that reaches Mrs. Olsen, the cabin owner, who is snowed in at her neighbor's place a mile away. Five people who should never be in the same room are now trapped in the same building for at least 48 hours. The walls are made of logs. You can hear everything.
